Cranial-Sacral was developed by John Upledger in Mitchigan USA between 1975 and 1983.
It is ideal for relieving stress and allowing somatic releases.
It involves cradling or holding different points, mainly along the head, spine and sacrum in order to affect release. Strokes and holds are very gentle and never apply more than 5 grams of pressure (just over the weight of a 2p coin).
Cranio -Sacral therapy can address a wide range of issues including migraine headaches, stress-related syndromes, neck and head injuries, scoliosis, orthopedic dysfunctions, autism and learning disabilities.
