Trigger Point

Trigger point massage therapy involves applying pressure and release onto a specific site in the muscle and communicating with client to gauge pressure and location of the knot.

Craniosacral is ideal for relieving stress and allowing somatic releases. It involves cradling or holding different points, mainly along the head, spine and sacrum in order to affect release.

Structural is based on the understanding that muscles migrate around the bones due to workload placed on them. This therapy involves “ironing” muscles back into place with slow and very deep strokes.

Swedish massage utilises long strokes to promote body awareness, rejuvenation and relaxation. It is a good way to prepare for deeper work.

A comprehensive and very vigorous form of massage that relies on moving blood and lymph to the lymph nodes where toxins are filtered.

Involves very detailed work normally on the origin of an injury. It helps the body to heal by improving blood flow and removing metabolic waste from the site of an injury. A wide range of tools and methods can be used to bring the body into a state of balance including cross-fibre massage and gentle stroking.


Typically after a session of massage I will provide you with the option of some remedial exercise. I explain where the tension is manifesting and why (the origin of the issue). Then I give you exercises to help strengthen or stretch the right muscles and demonstrate how to perform them.


Meditation is about creating a space where one does not identify with thoughts and relaxes into the wisdom of the body. The reason this works so well in conjunction with massage therapies is that the body holds traumas and emotional memories within its tissues. The massage can help release these tensions and meditation can help consolidate its benefits.
